Seasonal
The calendar year at St. John's is full of seasonal events which provide an opportunity for the whole congregation to gather for music, fellowship, fun, food, reflection or all of the above. These get-togethers may be prompted by the seasons of the church, by the four seasons, or by special occasions.

Mardi Gras Party
On Fat Tuesday we join for a feast, fun and games and fellowship each year as we begin the solemn season of Lent. A volunteer is needed to coordinate this event for 2012
Easter Brunch
On Easter Sunday, the congregation is invited to attend the Easter Brunch after the 10AM service. A volunteer is needed to coordinate this event for 2012
Mother's Day and Father's Day Brunch
Both these occasions are provided as a fundraiser by the Episcopal Youth Community of St. John's. Youth work together to prepare and serve these special occasion community brunches in the parish hall. A free will offering is collected to defray costs and to make some profit for youth activities! Contact Diane Bjorklund with questions.
Hallow'een Party
Get goofy - or better still "boo"-fy at this annual Parish Wide Party. Any volunteers to coordinate this event!
Oktoberfest
In late September or early October each year, the parish gathers for an out door bonfire/BBQ/pot luck at a local parishioners home in the country. The location couldn't be nicer, or the company better. This is a wonderful opportunity for you and the whole family to join in the fun and come and meet the parishioners of St. John's. Watch Upcoming Events on the Website and the Sunday Bulletin for details in late September. A sign-up list in the Parish Hall helps the planners who provide drinks and brats/hot dogs. Plan on coming!
