The St. John's Choir consists of very talented parishioners and individuals from the Iowa State University Student Community -some of whom are also parishioners. The Choir is in full bloom during the period that ISU is in session and takes a break during the summer months. This talented group helps lead the congregation in the singing of the hymns and typically provides one anthem during the service, normally for the Offertory. Come and hear a variety of musical styles from African Spirituals to 16th Century Latin chorale. The highlight of the year is the Ceremony of Lessons and Carols conducted on a Sunday evening in December.
Or, listen to a sample of St. John's Choir. These CD's are for sale as a fund-raiser for the Choir Scholarship Fund.
