Eucharist @ 8 AM
Join us for a Service of Holy Eucharist, Rite One at 8 am on Sunday, August 7. 8 am Sunday Services will be held in the Sanctuary.
Please check the Abounding in Hope Plan for Regathering from the Diocese of Iowa for COVID-19 restrictions and updates.
Story County is a green region according to the Diocesan website. According to Bishop Monnot, services are allowed to resume at normal capacity and masking/social distancing restrictions are lifted in green regions. We encourage everyone to stay up to date on vaccinations and boosters if they are able.
This means restrictions have greatly eased up in regards to in-person services.
We continue to ask that all attendees sign in at the check-in desk when they arrive.
People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask.
Hand sanitizing stations are to be provided at entrances.
Sanitizing wipes/spray will be provided in the bathrooms.
Holy Communion: may be distributed in both kinds in the yellow and green regions. Intinction will be offered using a very small amount of wine in a wide, shallow cup or bowl. Please sanitize your hands before and after taking communion. If you wish to only receive communion in the form of a blessing, please know that you have still made a full communion.
Coffee hour and other events with food and drinks may take place in the yellow and green regions, but congregations are encouraged to plan carefully how food and drinks are served. Individually wrapped foods and designated servers, as opposed to potlucks or buffets, are still a safer option.
